Ingredients

35 oz. Khoya

1 cup sugar

3.5 oz. of small sugar balls.

Preparation Instructions
In a large, heavy pot, cook the khoya and sugar until it turns brown. This should take about 3-4 hrs. Stir occasionally.

Transfer to a plate and using your hands, make small rolls from it.

Roll sugar balls over this and serve on a tray.

Store it in an air tight container.

Bal Mithai

Bal Mithai is cooked khoya and sugar. The mixture turns brown and is laced with small white sugar balls.

Didn't know to expect in this recipe and I'm glad I did this one, funny texture but the subtle taste of the ingredients are still intact and that makes it a lot more satisfying!
