4 tablespoon lima beans, shelled
4 tablespoon green peas, shelled
4 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 onion, small, peeled and chopped
5 cups water
1 tablespoon melted butter
Seasonings to taste
In a kettle add all the ingredients in the above order and allow it to boil on medium heat.
Cover and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to a simmer and let cook slowly for about 45 minutes.
