Glazed Peach Pie

6 cup peaches, peeled and sliced

1 cup granulated sugar

3 tbsp. cornstarch

1/4 tsp. cinnamon, ground

1/2 cup orange juice

1 9” baked pie shell

Whipped cream

Preparation Instructions

Peel, slice and measure peaches into a large bowl.

Mash enough peaches to measure 1 cup. Reserve remaining peaches.

In a sauce pan, over medium heat, combine sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Add orange juice and mashed peaches. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute while continuing to stir.

Remove from heat and spread half the glaze over the bottom and sides of the pie shell.

Spoon reserved peach slices into pie shell. Spread remaining glaze evenly over peaches.

Chill for at least 3 hours. Serve with whipped cream.

I do love peaches ... this one is best for me to make for my kids' snack ... So easy to prepare and very simple ...

It sure looks good in the picture, but wait till you taste the end product, it is one of the best fruit pie recipes I have tried. This is highly recommendable.
