20 medium-sized fresh oysters
2 teaspoons vinegar
½ cup grated white radish or turnip
¼ cup marinade sauce
Salt
Water
Grated lemon peel
For the Marinade Sauce:
¼ cup vinegar
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
½ teaspoon soy sauce
¼ teaspoon salt
In a large pot, make a mixture of salt water using 1 teaspoon of salt for every cup of water. Wash the oysters in this salt water.
Sprinkle the oysters with the 2 teaspoons vinegar.
In a bowl, stir together the ¼ cup vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, and salt. Fold in the radish. Add the oysters and stir together.
Serve with a few pinches of grated lemon peel.
