200gms canned salmon

1/3 cup cracker crumbs

1 egg, whipped

2 tablespoons onion - chopped

2 tablespoons skimmed milk

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons butter - or margarine

In a large bowl except butter mix all the ingredients, stir well.

Make 3-5 patties of this dough and keep aside.

In a saucepan melt the butter and fry these patties on both side till golden brown and cooked well.

Serve hot with sauce.

Freshly made salmon cakes are very delicious and crispy and mouth watering snack. It is quite rich in omega 3 fatty acids other minerals found in fish family. These golden brown patties are very much in demand during those cold winter evenings.
