Ingredients

4/5 cup of butter

1/2 cup sugar

4 cup North cherries, pitted

2 cup Maraschino

2 cup Kirsch

3 cup raspberry juice

4 scoops vanilla ice cream

1 cup almonds, toasted

some mint leaves

Preparation Instructions

In a frying pan, make melt butter and add sugar.

When melted, add the cherries and flambee with the Maraschino and the Kirsch.

Stir in raspberry juice

Pour everything over the ice cream scoops equally and serve topped with almonds and mint leaves.

This is amazingly good! I've done lots of similar recipes that involve wine, but this simple recipe beats them all. This is a fabulous topping for a scoop vanilla ice cream.
Wow! I have never sautéed cherries before. I will try it soon. Because I can really see how yummy it is from its outside looks and I know it will be more delicious when poured by my favorite raspberry juice. It seems very easy to cook just as the way it is being video demonstrated by its Chef Luc Huysentruyt. Thanks for this nice recipe posted in this site.

How the hell will I understand what he’s saying! At least add some subtitle or better an English dubbing for the video so everyone can understand . The recipe is good though, I love sweets but I think it’s too much. I think I won’t try this one.

You know what, this is one great raspberry juice that is good for pancake toppings, pies and etc. In addition, you can also use it as a spread on bread paired with coffee. Applicable for all sweet desserts and etc.!

the maraschino cherries were too sweet already, and the raspberry juice only made it worse for my taste. The flavors are too strong.

The good taste of the cherries disappeared. It just turned out bitter and sour in taste. I don't like it!

I am sure it was Kirsch that made the taste not so good. Everything is made up of cherry, and it was too much for my taste buds. Just the Maraschino would have been better. I don’t think I am going to make this again.

It was surprising that the truffles worked well with the scallops. This recipe had perfect timing for the lenten season. I will cook this on a regular basis.

Not only is this dish perfect for the summer, but also great for parties. I made this for our easter Sunday lunch party and my guests could not keep their eyes off the enticing red color of the cherries and syrupy juice. Great way to complement the light flavor of vanilla ice cream.
Cook at last moment when preparing dinner so you can get them right to the table when they're ready; Very easy and quick to prepare. Great dessert: a very delicious recipe with vanilla cream on top of it. My kids really enjoyed this recipe.
I never knew that cherries can be sauteed. But when I discovered this recipe, I was amazed! i followed the video exactly what was given and it turned out very delicious! i am going to try this again.

A four step dessert with ice cream and almonds as topping! I always order this out on restaurants and now that a recipe is available on my fingertips I gave it a whirl! You will notice that the juice gave the ice cream an extra flavor that seems authentic. All in all, this dish is my favorite and I will make this as long as I didn’t run out of any of the ingredients!
